Founder and Executive Director of Trauma to Triumphs, Inc. (bKind), Lisa provides resources to transcend trauma, poverty, and deprivation; and collaborates to honor diversity and advance the quality of life in NYC communities. Educated at Emma Willard School & Boston College, she transitioned from a career in Business and Marketing to directly serve individuals in need of basic necessities and programs for mental and physical wellness.
Ray has been an invaluable leader with bKind. He is highly respected and cherished by community partners, volunteers, and those we serve. In addition to 35+ years of investigative experience with a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice, Ray has a 2nd Degree Black Belt from Nabi Su Martial Arts. Ray has spearheaded programs for safety, Tai-Chi, and Positive Thinking, helping countless individuals achieve a state of overall joy, security, and wellbeing.
Macy joined the bKind team in March 2020 to launch emergency response initiatives when NYC shutdown due to the pandemic.
Macy oversees social media platforms and develops strategies to promote bKind programs, events, and partnerships.

Julian has helped bKind provide accessible programs for all children. His attention to detail, compassion, and experience with youth facing unprecedented challenges including language barriers, anxiety, depression, and so much more make Julian an asset to our community. "I focus on the positive things that brighten a moment because each can make a positive impact; like a pebble dropped in a pool, there is a ripple effect. One action, even if seemingly small, can be a source of inspiration that results in an individual or collective achievement"
Retired NYC Deputy Commissioner Vincent E. Green has achieved national recognition for promoting equity, equality, integrity, and justice. He was honored for Black History Month and released his latest of over 70 books, Does Race Negate. He has led bKind programs for safety, wellness, and education including the ongoing international publishing project, Voices of Youth. Lead Investigator in the towers on 9/11, Vinny heroically served others and continues to do so as a role model and leader aligned with bKind to promote safety, diversity, and opportunity for all.
Trauma to Triumphs, Inc. provides yoga for children of all ages in emergency housing facilities, schools, pre-school, community centers, parks, and for private events or summer festivals.
Curriculum is customized to accommodate special needs, ages, and abilities.

Raymond Russell has over 35 years of investigative experience and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
Ray is a 2nd Degree Black Belt: Nabi Su Martial Arts (including Tai Chi & Kung Fu) and previously trained in Vee ArnisJitsu & Kansai Self Defense.
Raymond Russell has spearheaded bKind programs including safety/situational awareness training, Tai-Chi classes, and positive thinking/meditation.
His knowledge, skills, and compassion have had an invaluable impact on the communities we serve.
In May 2023, Ray’s impact on our city was honored by the Lawyer's Alliance with an award to “commend Raymond Russell for his selfless dedication to providing safety training, food access, youth literacy, and senior care. Ray has gone above and beyond for decades continuously making the lives of our communities better. His unparalleled commitment to serving those in need is remarkable and we are eternally grateful to have him as part of the bKind team.”
Vincent E. Green has been a part of worldwide efforts to combat corruption for more than 40 years. During his career with the New York City Department of Investigation (DOI), Green progressed to the position of Deputy Commissioner. Green was one of the founders of the DOI Peace Officer Academy.
In response to the rise in violence against our AAPI communities, bKind launched situational awareness and safety training programs led by Vincent Green and Ray Russell. Shortly after, Green spearheaded VOICES OF YOUTH, a worldwide children’s publishing project through a partnership between bKind and G-Square Publishing.
